What is Chiropractic? |
Chiropractic is the art, science and philosophy which concerns
itself with the relationship between structure, primarily the spine, and function,
primarily the nervous system, of the human body as that relationship may affect the
restoration and preservation of health.
Health is a state of optimum physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity. To maintain your optimum health potential, you need all your body parts and have them functioning 100% all the time. If you don't have all your parts, or they aren't functioning properly, you suffer from ill health. If we can improve the functioning of our bodies, we will have a better chance of improving our health. It's the role of the nerve system, consisting of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves, to control and coordinate the function of all the tissues, organs and systems of the body. |

"The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease" Thomas Edison |
